Hi and welcome to the back page

From the 18th April I'll be moving to Sydney with my dear Mrs Bean.   We are really looking forward to the move too.

As I'll be continuing to referee football in Sydney and do this website I'll bring you reports on what is happening down in the harbour city.  Hope you can stay with us throughout the season.

As you know in the last week I had to go to the BJRL Judiciary.  I didn't have to appear but what I heard not only saddened me but sent a clear message that abuse on the field by a spectator, coach or any person to an official will be dealt with severely.

Both a coach and a spectator received 12 months on the sideline for abusive behaviour  to an official.  If the abuse is justified then fine.  However it shouldn't be tolerated.  After all like you, we are here for the kids. 

Well it's the Easter weekend and not a football game in sight.  Plenty of NRL though so here are my tips for this week.
